History- Kilowatt Credit Union began on January 17, 1952. We are a nonprofit financial cooperative, owned, controlled, and operated for the benefit of its members. The credit union is run by a Board of Directors elected by the members. The Board of Directors hires the President who manages the daily operations of the credit union. Members also elect a Supervisory Committee to regularly examine credit union operations and supervise the acts of the Board of Directors and other officers.

Membership Eligibility- Kilowatt Credit Union serves employees of Ameren, Corp., Eugene Cole R-V School District, the families of these groups, and anyone living or working in the counties of Cole or Callaway. You may become a member by depositing a minimum of $25.00 in a share account and completing a membership card.
